My journey began with diagnosing patients as a doctor, evolved into decoding data as a data scientist, and has now led me to driving impactful projects in different industries. I’m driven by a passion for solving problems, embracing new challenges, and creating solutions that make a meaningful difference.
MY STORY
The journey began when I was just 16, fueled by curiosity and a love for exploration. In 2011, I took my first steps into the world of internet marketing, diving into the digital space and learning how to connect ideas with people in meaningful ways. This early experience sparked a deep interest in innovation, but my childhood dream of becoming a doctor never wavered.
In 2013, I entered medical school, driven by a passion for helping others. For six years, I dedicated myself to understanding the complexities of healthcare and honing the skills to make a difference in people’s lives. Yet, alongside my medical studies, the pull of technology and marketing grew stronger.
By 2017, I was balancing medical school with freelance digital marketing, exploring how technology could amplify impact and transform lives. This dual journey opened my eyes to the incredible potential of merging medicine and tech, a realization that would shape my future. In 2019, inspired by the possibilities, I started exploring data science as a way to bridge these two passions and ventured into the field of digital health.
In early 2020, I joined a Colombian NGO as an international volunteer, contributing to 3D-printed prosthetic arms projects, using technology to improve the quality of life for the people. Later that year, I returned to full-time clinical practice, serving as a doctor and dedicating myself to my patients. Yet, I knew my journey wasn’t complete.
In mid-2021, I began pursuing a master’s degree in data science, balancing my studies with my role as a medical officer. This period was challenging but deeply rewarding, as it equipped me with the tools to merge my two worlds: medicine and technology.
At the end of 2023, I made a pivotal decision to transition fully into the tech industry, leaving clinical practice to focus on driving innovation on a larger scale. Now, as 2024 comes to a close, I’m exploring new industries, ready to leverage my diverse experiences—from marketing to medicine to data science—to tackle fresh challenges and create meaningful impact.
Looking back, the journey has been anything but linear, but each step has taught me the value of adaptability, curiosity, and the courage to pursue what truly inspires me. I’m excited to keep building, learning, and empowering others in whatever comes next.
